Warrington Borough Transport's Centenary celebrations in 2002 included an open day at Widerspool Causeway depot, free bus tours of the town, and a re-enactment of the first ever tram journey from Warrington to Latchford. The event is remembered as probably the best operator-organised event in the last twenty years.
